Our History

Medical Aesthetic Medicine Association (MESTDER) was established on January 5, 2015, with the aim of protecting the rights of physicians working in the field of medical aesthetics and devoted to this area, training young medical aesthetic physicians, and resolving the problems experienced in the field. The founding members formed the board of directors, and Dr. Devrim Gürsoy became the first founding president of our association.
Since its establishment, MESTDER has organized numerous national congresses, regional training meetings, and domestic and international cadaver courses to enhance the knowledge and experience of its members. With the support of its members, the association continues these efforts.
Our association has also initiated or intervened in many legal cases related to medical aesthetic medicine, resulting in significant decisions in favor of our physicians. MESTDER has played a major role in the expansion and development of this field.
During this process, our association decided to act jointly with the Aesthetic Medicine Association (ESTDER), chaired by Dr. Hasan Subaşı, thereby increasing its strength.
After serving as president for three terms, Dr. Devrim Gürsoy handed over the leadership of our association to a new administration under the presidency of Dr. Yasemin Savaş at the general assembly meeting held on June 18, 2021.
Dr. Devrim Gürsoy and Dr. Hasan Subaşı have been elected as honorary presidents of our association.
We sincerely thank all the board members and members of MESTDER who have contributed so far.
Our association continues its work in the field of medical aesthetics.
